HVPD Longshot™ The HVPD Longshot™ diagnostic PD test unit is the most versatile PD test unit presently available in the marketplace having been used to carry out on-line PD testing all types of in-service MV and HV plant, including cables, switchgear, transformers and rotating machines. HVPD Multi™ Portable 16-Channel PD Monitor The HVPD Multi™ Portable Monitor is an on-line 16-channel, condition monitoring device suitable for the on-line measurement and monitoring of Partial Discharge (PD) activity in medium voltage (3.3kV to 45kV) substations, without outages of 50/60Hz high voltage power supply. HVPD 15 kV, 500 pF Coupling Capacitor PD Sensor The HVPD CC15/500 High Voltage Coupling Capacitor sensor for the partial discharge (PD) testing and monitoring of HV motors and generators rated up to 15 kV. The new sensor is designed for direct galvanic connection to the outputs/busbars, to allow testing of the stator winding insulation of in-service rotating HV motors and generators. Permanent installation is made inside the machine’s terminal box, with one sensor per phase (as illustrated below). HVPD HFCT 140/100HC The HFCT 140/100HC is a large-size, split-core, shielded high frequency current transformer for earth screen/earth strap connection and/or connection around the insulated core of the cable (this is installed below the point where the earth screen has been 'taken off' with the earth screen brought back through the sensor, as shown right). The HFCT140/100HC has a 94 mm diameter internal 'window' and has been designed with flexibility in mind which has been specifically designed for the on-line PD testing and monitoring of HV motors and generators. With a saturation current of over 1000 Amps, the sensor is suitable for the measurement of PD in rotating machines rated up to 11 MVA at 6.6 kV, 19 MVA at 11 kV and around 24 MVA at 13.8 kV.
