The PRIMEON test van system sets a new benchmark in advanced technology. It offers a comprehensive solution for locating cable faults and can be configured with VLF testing and diagnostic capabilities.

PRIMEON integrates a built-in Teleflex® RDR radar for time domain reflectometry, an insulation testing module, a powerful high-voltage DC source, a multi-stage surge wave generator (thumper) compatible with the digiPHONE +2 for pinpoint accuracy, a high-frequency burner for fault conversion, and a range of industry-standard radar and transient pre-location methods. All functions are controlled from a single, centralised unit featuring a user-friendly graphical interface.

Centrally controlled and automated system

The PRIMEON system consolidates all functions into a single, central control unit, featuring an intuitive graphical user interface. Hardwired functions - such as mains on/off, HV on, HV off, and emergency stop - are seamlessly integrated, eliminating the need for additional hardware. The system enables fully automated fault location and diagnostics through motorized HV switches, including HV mode selection and execution, all managed by software-controlled motor switches.

Additional features include secure remote access and control via an internet connection, TeamViewer support, and a smartphone app. The system also includes fully integrated MeggerBook V2 database software.
