Very Low Frequency test sets are used to verify the dielectric integrity of the cable under test, be it for commissioning/ acceptance testing or for maintenance testing. VLF sinusoidal and VLF Cosine Rectangular (CR) are the two most common and standardized wave shapes used for VLF testing
